Rural Health Medical Program, INC. currently has three (3) Dental Teams working our Dallas County Health Center, Uniontown Health Center, and Demopolis Health Center(s), where our dentists and dental assistants offer regular cleanings, which are recommended for every 6 months — twice yearly, composite fillings and most extractions.
Dental health has an effect on many medical ailments including blood pressure, diabetes, heart conditions and more. Your oral health also provides clues about your overall health as problems in your mouth can actually have an effect on the rest of your body. And we want to help you and your whole family with good dental health.
We aim to provide total health care needs. Therefore, when patients schedule appointments with a primary provider for an annual wellness visit, full dental screenings can also be made. This collaborative and comprehensive approach to patient care allows our dental team to assess and refer patients to primary and specialty services within our health center network.

Our Optometry Team is dedicated to helping you take a proactive approach to preventing eye diseases and protecting your eyesight.
We are pleased to offer comprehensive eye-health services across our community health center network. Because vision is more than just seeing 20/20, our Optometry Department provides extensive eye-care services and exams including dilation, children’s exams for school, binocular vision testing, contact lens and eyeglass exams and fittings, glaucoma screenings and treatment, diabetic testing and treatment, cataract evaluations & monitoring, and more. We also take proactive steps to identify vision and health problems, such as nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. We provide full eye care services to help address your vision concerns by prescribing glasses and contact lenses. Once you have received a prescription from our optometrist, an optician steps in to get you set up with your eyewear. They are dedicated to finding and fitting you with the perfect set of glasses or other corrective solutions.

Our podiatrists specialize in the accessing, diagnosis, and referring medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle, and lower extremities to the closest podiatrist. We offer onsite expertise to treat everything from minor concerns to severe issues, with personal plans designed to address your specific needs.
