In addition to providing primary and preventative healthcare for the entire family, RHMPI stands out because of the various specialty services that are offered across each of our eight (8) health center locations. Our vision is to create a seamless system of access to quality healthcare and social services to all residents within our service area. We pride ourselves on being your provider of choice with a collaborative approach to healthcare. Our patients have access to not only medical primary care and preventative services, patients can also offer the following specialty services:
Caring for a healthy mouth, teeth, and gums should be a regular part of your healthcare, and we’d like to help.
Rural Health Medical Program, INC. currently has three (3) Dental Teams working our Dallas County Health Center, Uniontown Health Center, and Demopolis Health Center(s), where our dentists and dental assistants offer regular cleanings, which are recommended for every 6 months — twice yearly, composite fillings and most extractions.
Dental health has an effect on many medical ailments including blood pressure, diabetes, heart conditions and more. Your oral health also provides clues about your overall health as problems in your mouth can actually have an effect on the rest of your body. And we want to help you and your whole family with good dental health.
We aim to provide total health care needs. Therefore, when patients schedule appointments with a primary provider for an annual wellness visit, full dental screenings can also be made. This collaborative and comprehensive approach to patient care allows our dental team to assess and refer patients to primary and specialty services within our health center network.

We also take proactive steps to identify vision and health problems, such as nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. We provide full eye care services to help address your vision concerns by prescribing glasses and contact lenses. Once you have received a prescription from our optometrist, an optician steps in to get you set up with your eyewear.
